We sought your feedback on a new guidance document to help transport operators prepare Transport Emergency Response Plans for road tank vehicles and prime movers transporting liquids and other dangerous goods.

Satisfying the requirements described in the Transport Emergency Response Plan (TERP) is needed to meet a minimum level of safety for the transportation of dangerous goods.

The NSW Environment Protection Authority (the EPA) consulted with the transport industry and all interested stakeholders before publishing the guidance for developing a Transport Emergency Response Plan.

Your views on the document are highly valued and will inform the development and distribution of this important handbook for the safety of transporting dangerous goods.
