Our regulatory decision-making
The Regulatory Policy is a public policy that sits under the Regulatory Strategy. It sets out how we make our regulatory decisions, including the decision-making principles we apply and the factors we consider when responding to an issue or non-compliance.
Our regulatory approach is underpinned by eight elements. We listen, educate, enable, act, influence, require, monitor and enforce. The Regulatory Policy outlines some of the tools we use under each element of our regulatory approach.
Once finalised and released, the new Regulatory Policy will replace the current Compliance Policy.
