Review of the Noise Control Regulation

The EPA has reviewed the Noise Control Regulation in consultation with key stakeholders, and is proposing several changes to the Regulation. The proposed changes are summarised in the Proposed Changes to Noise Regulation in NSW (located in the document library above).

The EPA is consulting with local councils and other Appropriate Regulatory Authorities before finalising the draft Noise Control Regulation. Feedback received will help inform any final changes prior to public consultation.

Ways to have your say

Targeted consultation on the proposed changes to the Noise Control Regulation is now open until 14 May 2025.
