Thank you for your feedback on the Model Transport Infrastructure Licence. Consultation is now closed.

The NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA) received 14 formal submissions on the proposed Model Transport Licence between 15 July and 30 August 2021. We also ran four presentations to stakeholders that were attended by over 80 people and received initial verbal feedback via six follow up sessions. Your input on the model transport licence was invaluable.

A model transport infrastructure licence has been sought by both industry and developed by the NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA) to achieve consistency in the regulation of potential environmental and community impacts from the construction of major transport infrastructure projects.

The EPA has consulted with government transport agencies, major transport infrastructure construction contractors, consultants and sub contractors. Your views on the final draft were highly valued and informed the finalisation of the model licence.

The EPA wishes to thank all stakeholders for their feedback on the Model Transport Infrastructure Licence during the consultation period and advises consultation is now closed.
