Why it matters

Providing feedback helps make a difference

Your feedback will help shape the way we work together to make NSW a litter-free environment for all to enjoy.

The draft NSW Litter Prevention Strategy 2022-2030 is a 'big picture' document. It sets out the broad approaches we will take together to keep driving down litter and littering behaviour in NSW.

The NSW Environment Protection Authority consulted with the community and stakeholders before finalising the strategy. Your views on the seven approaches proposed in the draft strategy will help inform the final NSW Litter Prevention Strategy 2022-2030.

We sought feedback on:

  • Whether the 'settings' are right for the strategy
  • If it will help achieve targets
  • If the vision and approaches meet our strategic objectives.

Information webinars

The draft NSW Litter Prevention Strategy was released for public consultation at the same time as the draft NSW Illegal Dumping Strategy. We hosted two information sessions to provide an overview of both documents and to answer questions.
