Helping councils to jointly procure waste services

Under the NSW Waste and Sustainable Materials Strategy, the NSW Government is committing $16 million over five years to help councils jointly procure waste services. We want to make it easier for local councils to come together to procure waste services that deliver good value for ratepayers and help to achieve better waste and recycling outcomes. By consolidating waste volumes and approaching the market with scale, we can attract investment in new infrastructure and services. To find out more about the Joint Procurement Funded Support or apply for a grant visit the EPA website.
