Why it matters

A pathway to support resource recovery innovation

We have developed an innovation pathway concept designed to address existing barriers and enhance circular economy initiatives.

The Innovation Pathway Concept Paper summarises stakeholder feedback on the challenges to innovation in NSW and presents various potential actions that the EPA may take to overcome these obstacles.

The Innovation Position Statement articulates the EPA’s commitment to innovation and risk-taking, defining the scope, principles, and criteria for participation in the innovation pathway.

Initial consultations on this pathway have identified key barriers to innovation in NSW. We’re now seeking to understand how the proposal can better support you. Gathering insights from stakeholders is crucial to ensuring that the pathway is balanced and effective.
